Our approach

We believe that a healthy community requires public engagement that supports and embraces the community’s racial, cultural, and socio-economic complexity. In an effort to ensure accessibility and input from the community and participants, we base our culturally responsive outreach strategies for engagement on three pillars: 1) building intentional partnerships with community organizations that are accountable to residents where arts education is lacking and bringing our programs directly to them 2) using professional development to serve communities that we cannot reach directly 3) establishing direct communication with families to build trust, connection, and be responsive to their needs.

Our programs

We offer programs at community centers and schools for all ages from early childhood to seniors. Our professional development is for community organizations and individuals interested in fusing dance into their program and/or curriculum.
